Back in 2000, a creative couple,Sabina&Ryan Nore developed a project titled Sion. It was the online city created in Flash for visitors who wanted to explore and play. It was a big success back then, becoming a feature site on NBC Giga. Then on January 1^st 2007, they launched Homdor.com, actually the second or the next version of Sion.

World of Magical Exploration

You can register for free in order to visit Homdor and when you are there you can chat with other members-visitors, or collect points for various games and discoveries. What I like in Homdor is that almost any area offers the possibility for users to contribute by helping make the city better. Sabina and Ryan Nore wanted that members of this virtual community come together using their imagination, creativity, and sense of exploration through music, magic, art and adventure. This is a creative way to take a part in shaping a world which could evolve into reality through the law of attraction. It is the hope to inspire feelings of happiness, contentment, and self gratification in those who are open an willing to experience a world which is a reflection of reality’s potential.
Being a living entity Homdor develops and grows not just through the energy and creativity of its creators, but its  inhabitants”  inputs too.

 The main areas of interest include visual arts, literature,music, movies, psychology, divination, humor, cooking, and various forms of puzzles, playful riddles, educational quizzes and tests.

As you browse the town and its surroundings you will notice that you can take part in many different activities that will bring you different amounts of points. You can get points for Spirit, Energy, Intelligence, Magic and Beauty, in the sense of the inner beauty, the only kind that doesn’t fade with time.  As you are getting your points, they open you some doors that can only be accessed by users of a certain level. Contributing  to Homdor’s growth you are awarded respectively through the rise in your Energy, Intelligence, Spirit, Magic, or other statistics. I like this approach very much.

Cinema Latte is an interesting place where you can enjoy great selection of movie scenes, test your knowledge in movies or suggest your movie .

Being a passionate cook myself, I was surprised how many interesting  recipes I could find in the  Homdor’s  restaurant.

The Museum offers Homdorian wallpapers, screensavers, soundtracks and other treats.

If you choose to visit The Castle, you step on the paths less taken.

If you like rebuses, then you will climb the mountains  enjoying to find a secret place in its white and the amazing world of rebuses  waiting for you there.

When you dive in the Underwater world of Homdor  you start the journey of the depths of your psyche, exploring your darkness.

One of my places in Homdor is The Library. It is the place where you can meet great minds from the world of literature and learn interesting details about their life and work. You can contribute to the growing of this place with your suggestions, or enjoy an interesting test about literature.

I am a huge fan of Homdor from the very beginning. In Homdor I have found nice challenges for my knowledge in art, music and literature. And it is interesting that after visiting Homdor so many times,  this place always surprises me again. That is why I can recommend you too to visit this magic place. Meet you there!
